On Friday 24th January, three of our student council members attended the Student Council Network meeting at Highlands College. The children saw the final design of their poster for the first time. They were extremely pleased with the way it looked. The children from the three schools involved will present the poster at the next Student Council Network meeting on 20th March and explain the concept of the poster as well as the design process.
The children also talked about well-being and what more can be done in Jersey to help improve children’s well-being across the island.
We discussed the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child and how all adults who work with children and young people must be duty bearers, knowing, understanding and believing in the rights of every child.
