On Friday 23rd March all the children at Grands Vaux “stepped up for Sport Relief.” Sport Relief is a charitable event that support those living with mental health issues and provide lifesaving maternal healthcare for mothers and babies. The charity also help those at risk of trafficking or domestic violence and join the global fight to end malaria.
All the children lapped the school for half an hour challenging themselves to see just how many they could do. Tymon from Year 4 achieved the most laps with a total of 24.
Thank you to all parental donations! As a school we added to the incredible money that was fund raised. Sport Relief raised an amazing £38,195,278! That money will now be put to work, helping people live happier, healthier, safer lives.
